Fimo bunny

I went to another fimo workshop last weekend led by a lady called Bonnie McGough and we made cartoon bunnies in the morning and beads from flower canes in the afternoon.

Here is my rather cute (even if I do say so myself) bunny:

He has a cone of tinfoil with a cocktail stick in the middle as a body and a ball of tinfoil as a head which means we used a lot less clay than if they were solid. He was made with half a block of brown and a quarter of blue so not much clay at all which is good.

We were shown how to make pretty flower canes with two colours and how to add a stamen - I think I need to practise this a few times to remember which way to turn the blocks when you cut and layer them as it takes a bit of thinking!

Unfortunately, my beads decided to go a bit burnt in the oven - the problem with light clay (they were white and pink but now look grey) and still experimenting with timing in a new oven since moving house. I still have lots of the cane left though so can make plenty more and when I do I will post pictures.
