Recent Purchases

What a miserable day today - perfect weather for crafting but we are supposed to be going out later. Hope the rain stops before then! I've been away on a course this week but when I returned I had lots of lovely parcels to open from Crafty Ribbons and a couple of ebay purchases. Here are my goodies:

I couldn't resist this set of ribbons any longer. I was really in need of blue ribbon but it was such a good deal I just had to have the multipack :)

A new addition to my nestabilities collection. I really love these dies, however, a problem I've come across with this one is paper/card getting stuck in the die - anyone with any tips how to stop this happening so I don't have to sit picking it out with a compass every time I use it?

Instead of going for promarkers or copics which look great but I really can't afford, I've decided to start my pen collection with these Whispers pens. I really like the brush tips and maybe in the future I'll begin a promarker/copic collection.

I was very lucky to get onto the Sunday challenge from the Crafty Ribbon blog and received this gorgeous New England ribbon. I now need to design a couple of projects to send back to them - got my thinking cap well and truly on! Hopefully I'll get some time for crafting this weekend - I'm off to our local craft store for a charity day tomorrow which will be good fun and I will probably spend more money!
