Wow, I've had a very productive day today! I sat down and just did all my planning ready for school to start next week - that never happens! I didn't even procrastinate by taking regular blog checking breaks. And because of that I got everything finished by tea time which meant I had some time to play in the craft room this evening - yay!
I spent the evening first of all making some cards for The Crafty Ribbon Sunday challenge. I had been waiting for a new stamp to arrive from ebay and it did this morning and it just fits their New England ribbon theme perfectly and the ribbon is just so scrummy! I'm not going to post the pictures here until the Crafty Ribbon blog has posted them - wouldn't want to spoil the surprise :)
After that I decided to make a birthday card using my tatty teddy stamp that I got free from a DoCrafts magazine.
I spent ages putting it all together but had lots of fun too. I highlighted some of the shadows on Tatty Teddy with pencil, used some tatty teddy spotty paper edged with a MS punch and papermania birthday paper all backed with blue cardstock. I used three different kinds of ribbon, 2 from Bev's Buckets from Crafty Ribbon and one Anita's ribbon. I punched the little flowers and added Papermania gems to the centres.
I would like to enter it into the following challenges:
scrapbook sisters - flower, ribbons, gems
Sew Many challenges - edge punch
There's magic in the air - Birthday + 3 ribbons
Jellypark - Die cuts and punches
Papertake - Sketch
Let's craft and create - an old challenge - cute #2
Ribbon carousel - 2 or more ribbons
A spoon full of sugar - Party time
Polka doodles - spots and dots
Creative card crew - Anything goes
this is super cute, great image and awesome details...hope your week is fabby!
