Sepia birthday card

I decided that I wanted to try out sepia tones to colour this birthday card. I'd never done it before and am fairly pleased with it (except for the boy's hair - need to keep practising that!). I used an article from Simply cards and papercraft as the basis although I decided against using the blender pen as it advised as I couldn't make it work for me.

I also coloured the corner embellishments with a walnut promarker to make them look bronze and match with the rest of the card. The card, papers and buttons are from the stash at the craft morning I went to with my friend Jennie today and the sentiment is from Crafty Emma's which we got free in our goody bag at last year's crafty weekend (details for this year's here).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Stampalot Challenge - Happy Birthday
Joanna Sheen Challenge - It's a man's world
Corrosive Challenges - Heavy Metal
Stamp with Fun - No easter card
Papertake weekly - Anything goes
