A New England Christmas


This is a card I made for the Crafty Ribbons New England Christmas challenge and my cards have now been posted on their blog here so I thought I would post them here. These ribbons are gorgeous to work with and are available in several designs, plus they've got lots of other fab designs so get over there and have a look. I think they even have a special offer for free delivery this weekend so it's well worth it.

I really wanted to keep that traditional feel that these ribbons have so I bought this gorgeous little fireplace from ebay to match up with the stockings and chose to keep to the traditional red and green Christmas colour combo.

I coloured the image using blendable pencils then added a few accents with a white embossing pen and a tiny touch of gold glitter glue on the candles. The paper is from a DCWV paper pad which I finished off with some eyelets and threaded the heart ribbon through.
