A 50th birthday card

I made this card a few weeks ago for my uncle's 50th birthday. I was inspired by a challenge over on Paperartsy but I couldn't blog the card because it was too early and I didn't want him to accidentally see it beforehand.

I made the card using the number stamps from Paperartsy, first stamping them at the top and cutting holes with a scalpel blade so the black card underneath would show through. I then doodled the border with a fine-liner and masked with a post-it so I could stamp the 50 all over the background and then splatter with some red and green paint.
