A busy week

I've had a very busy week back at work this week and doing lots of things in the evenings too so haven't had much time for crafting until today. However, this week has involved lots of fabulous crafty news and new crafty stash!

First on Monday I won the crafty ribbons freebie friday which I was very gobsmacked about and now need to find some time perusing their website to choose some ribbons and I also won the There's Magic in the Air challenge - three's a charm and got two digi images which are very cute so I would like to say thank you to both of them for my lovely goodies.

Then on Wednesday it was my birthday and I got lots of lovely crafty goodies :D My boyfriend Tom got me a magazine subscription to Papercraft Inspirations which came with some gorgeous Tatty Teddy freebies, my nan got me some Nellie Snellen dies, my sister Nikki sent me a parcel of gorgeous sparkly pink papers, pink stickles and some green sparkly brads, my sister Sarah got me a voucher for Coleman's craft warehouse and I got another voucher for there from everyone at work.

On Friday I took my first trip over to Sir Stampalot to do an evening workshop on stamping. I now feel a lot more confident with what inks do which job and learnt how to do masking which I might brave soon! The shop is lovely and I've never seen so many stamps in all my life! Of course, I had to indulge in a couple!

Today I went to Coleman's warehouse to spend my birthday vouchers (and then some!!) and got lots of fabulous stamps - I WILL get good at stamping! - also a couple of new die sets, and a few embellishments. That's it, I am now banned from buying any more craft stuff til I've used some of what I've already got! I have been using some of it this afternoon and have four cards to show you but I will have to blog them later/tomorrow as I'm off out for the evening to a murder mystery.

  1. Hi Em, my you have been busy! Well done on winning all that crafty stuff & a belated Happy Birthday to you. I wish my family would give me crafty stuff for a present but I am lucky enough to have a smashing hubby who buys me some now & again.
